Our Mission
Rescues R Super helps pets and people find the right match through education, storytelling and teamwork.
This site provides educational content to help people select a pet that is well suited for their lifestyle and give them the information they need to care for that pet properly. The goal isn’t simply adoption. It’s adoption success.
We bring together rescue organizations, pet product and service companies, and others in the pet community through Team RSQ — our collaborative marketing approach that helps support that mission.
We believe learning about pets should be informative, engaging and fun—and can help pets and their people enjoy a wonderful life together.
Have Fun. Save Lives.
Why This Exists
I’ve always loved animals. My early advocacy focused on wildlife and environmental causes, and I produced documentaries and promotional content for conservation and nonprofit organizations.
Everything changed when I rescued a feral mama cat and her kittens. That experience introduced me to the dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes to save animals every day, and it’s part of why rescue support is woven into everything Rescues R Super does.
About the Creator & Inspiration
Rescues R Super is the pet project (pun intended) of Kamala and Lovie.
Lovie is a proud graduate of Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation, now Joybound People & Pets. He is the star and inspiration behind the site and upcoming series. He’s also a reminder that rescue pets aren’t “less than.” They’re resilient, quirky, unforgettable—and often the very best members of the family.
Kamala is an award-winning documentary producer, former journalist and longtime athlete and coach. Her background in educational storytelling and team sports shapes the content and team approach behind Rescues R Super.
